Iran Herbal Vermicompost

Iran Herbal Vermicompost is the product of composting using red worms to create a heterogeneous mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast. Vermicast, also called worm castings, worm humus or worm manure, is the end-product of the breakdown of organic matter by an earthworm. These castings have been shown to contain reduced levels of contaminants and a higher saturation of nutrients than do organic materials before vermicomposting.
Containing water-soluble nutrients, vermicompost is an excellent, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner. This process of producing vermicompost is called vermicomposting.

Vermicompost IranWhile other fertilizers may be rich in things important plant foods like nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus (NPK), they lack any microbial activity to give the product a long shelf life. But it’s bad for you because these processes eliminate one of the key ingredients to any healthy organic soil its microscopic life.
This increase in microbio diversity will give you two benefits that no other compost will:
1.    In the short term – add a wealth of microorganisms that will naturally protect your plants roots and leaves from foreign pathogens
2.    In the long term – Regular vermicompost application to your soil will act as a first crucial step towards rebuilding the microbial life of our depleted soils and getting your soil that much closer to the coveted self-regenerating nitrogen (plant food) cycle found in nature. For example, the soil micro-diversity of an old growth forest produces 3.5x more nitrogen than even the most nitrogen loving plant could ever use!

Vermi Worms:Eisenia Foetida

Iranian red worms (Eisenia fetida) are excellent compost worms. Worm composting is using worms to recycle food scraps and other organic material into a valuable soil amendment called vermicompost, or worm compost.
Vermicompost:
All the fertile areas of this planet have at least once passed through the bodies of earthworms, as stated by Darwin. That’s the characteristics of these amazing life-forms that make their role unique in terms of recycling waste and turning it into organic fertilizers called Vermi-Compost.
Vermi Compost is rich in NPK nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K); the primary nutrients making the soil fertile.

vermiRed Worms are the best known and most widely used composting worm. In terms of versatility, no other species can come close to the overall vermin-composting abilities of Eisenia fetida.
Iranian species of red worms eat almost their body weight daily in organic matter and convert it into dark, soil-enriching castings full of live microorganisms, growth hormones and nutrients. Often mistaken for earthworms, red worms like to live in the top 30 cm of the topsoil.

As one of the best producers of Vermi Worms and Vermicompost in Iran, we offer high quality and competitive retail, wholesale and export prices directly from our worm farms in Gilan. For more information, please contact us.
